Supportive Housing (as defined by MBS): is a congregate housing model that combines homelike building features and private lockable living units with basic support services and some socializing opportunities to enhance quality of life and enable seniors to live safely, comfortably and independently for as long as possible.

Assisted living (as defined by MBS) is a congregate housing model that combines homelike building features and private lockable living units with hospitality services including two meals per day, basic laundry and housekeeping, 24 hr/day emergency response, personal care and support needs 24hr/day and organized programs to enhance quality of life enabling seniors to live safely, comfortably, and independently as long as possible.
