In 1982 the MBS Board commissioned construction of Pauls Pavilion (now Menno Pavilion), a 26 suite supportive housing apartment facility. The first priority was to provide accommodation for spouses of residents living in Menno Home or Menno Hospital. In 1992, Menno Pavilion Phase 2, added 34 suites for a total of 60. In 1998, the 55 unit Menno Terrace West was completed.
In December 2005, Menno Terrace East opened with 54 suites for Supportive Housing and 41 suites for Subsidized Assisted Living. This project is another example of our commitment to make quality housing available for seniors.
MBS operates Supportive Housing without funding by government. The fees that the residents pay each
month ensure the privilege of a good home, a safe,
secure, and comfortable environment, a caring family atmosphere, and a number of "helps" including resident
services staff, wellness nurses, some meals, and more.
