There are 41 Subsidized Assisted Living suites in the Menno Terrace East building.
The Mennonite Benevolent Society financed and
constructed the new six storey, 95 suite Menno Terrace
East facility without capital dollars from the government. Menno Terrace East was designed and built to ILBC (Independant Living BC) Building Design Guidelines so it would meet the general building requirements of Assisted Living. The BC government, through BC Housing and the Fraser Health Authority, subsidize the Assisted Living program operating costs to meet the objective of providing affordable housing for low to moderate income
seniors and those with disabilities.
